Tangier M. Davis, M.A
Welcome! I am Tangier Davis, a doctoral candidate in the Psychology program at the University of Michigan. I am in the Personality and Social Context area, and an affiliate of the Gender and Feminist Psychology area.
My research focuses on exploring the barriers that women of color face in different workplace contexts. Most frequently, I think about the experiences of women of color who work in academia, but more recently I have also begun to think about their experiences in the political arena.
I received my M.A. in Experimental Psychology from California State University, Northridge and my B.A. in Psychology from Occidental College. Information about some of my published works are on this site. Feel free to reach out via email or social media for questions regarding my research.
