Tangier M. Davis, M.A

Welcome!

I am Tangier Davis, a doctoral candidate in the Psychology program at the University of Michigan. I am in the Personality and Social Context area, and an affiliate of the Gender and Feminist Psychology area.

I am an experienced People Analyst with a background in applied Industrial/Organizational (I/O) psychology. I use research and data to improve the experiences and engagement of employees and to inform business decisions around people management. I have expertise in using an intersectional lens to evaluate an organization's efforts to recruit and retain diverse employees. I use data analytics, survey, qualitative, and experimental research to develop strategic, evidence-based, and actionable recommendations to create great places to work.

Above all, I am passionate about increasing the workplace experiences of diverse groups.

I received my M.A. in Experimental Psychology from California State University, Northridge and my B.A. in Psychology from Occidental College. Information about some of my published works are on this site. Feel free to reach out via email or social media for questions regarding my research.
